Super Savings this week!

Have to share my savings for this week at Walgreens and CVS.  I did my shopping at both stores tonight and only spent $6.38...saved $57.27!!!

Here is what I got at CVS.

Here's how I saved money on this trip.  I didn't realize until today that you can go to a little scanner thing in the store and print off coupons.  In Topeka, this scanner is back by the laundry detergent/cleaning supplies.  Just scan your CVS card and they will print a coupon out for you.  My understanding is they will print off something you have purchased before.  So, I got a $2 coupon for Pantene.  The good thing about these coupons is you don't have to use them that day.  If I wanted I could have taken it home with me to use another day, but since the Pantene (old bottles) are 1/2 price right now I decided to take advantage of the coupon today.
  • Pantene 50% off and $2 coupon
  • Colgate on sale for $.89 and then I had 3 $.75 coupons
  • M&M's are B1G1 and I had a B1G1 coupon so 2 of the packs were free.  I bought 2 others because I needed to get the total up to $4 so I could use my $4 in Extra Care Bucks.  Afterwards I realized I didn't need to buy them since the cashier wasn't giving me a total, just a subtotal.  Oh well, Spent less than $2 for everything and I still have $10 in ECB from last week's shopping trip that I can save for next week!
Here are my Walgreens deals.  You can find my post showing the savings for Walgreens here.

Total before coupons = $43.05, total out of pocket = $4.60!
  • Suavitel on sale B1G1 for $2.99 and I had a $2 coupon from a mailer I got.
  • Twizzlers are $1.50 each, but 2 get a $2 RR and I had a coupon for $1/3.  Made these $.50 each.
  • Crest Mouthwash - $4.99, $2 coupon and $2 Register Reward
  • Gillette ProFusion Razor - $9.89, $4 coupon and $5 RR.
  • Dentyne Gum - 3/$1.98, $.99 coupon from Walgreens.
  • 2 Finesse - B1G1 for $3.99, 2/$1 coupons, $1 RR.
  • And I had $15 in RR to use.  For some reason I wasn't able to use one of them, so I was able to keep $1 for next week along with the $9 I earned today.
A great shopping week.  And a good start on next week's shopping with $10 to spend at both CVS & Walgreens.
