Thoughts on the newspaper

At times you might have noticed that when I list out coupons to use on my posts (like get something in the RP 4/25/10) you can't find the coupon in your Red Plum insert for that date.  I get my coupon data from another database and there are some regional differences and I'm just now seeing how many coupons we're missing just getting the Topeka paper.  Now, if you're in another part of the country (probably a bigger city), you're probably getting the good coupons. 

Today my grandma brought me this KC Star from this past Sunday.  In it I found $6 worth of coupons that our Topeka paper didn't have that I could use THIS WEEK ALONE for some really good deals.  And then I found a place you can get discounts on your paper.  How about the KC Star for just $1 per week for Thursday - Sunday?  Sounds like a GREAT deal to me!  The Sunday paper alone is $2 and I pay $2 a week for one day of the Topeka paper. 

So, where can you get the KC Star for $1 per week?  Go to Discounted Newspapers and sign up to have the Thursday - Sunday Kansas City Star delivered right to you door.  This week's coupons alone paid for several weeks of the paper for me.  All you have to do is enter your zip code (this offer is country wide) and they'll show you what papers are available to be delivered to your door.  I will continue to get the Topeka paper, but this will give me 2 sets of coupons, which is really nice to have when there are great sale prices.
