Games for $1.80 each

Have you run the game deal at Toys R Us this week yet?  If not and you have time before Sunday you should!  This will be a great gift to give one of the kid's on your list or a gift to set aside for an adopted family or Toys For Tots this Christmas season.  Here is how the deal is going to work.

$23.97 - 3 board games for $7.99 each (normally $16.99 each)
-$7.99 (get one free when you buy 2)
-$12.00 you will give them 3 $4 coupons (hopefully you printed off your coupon earlier this week when I mentioned it HERE!  Pretty sure they have run out of prints now)  I also found a $4 off coupon in the USA Weekend from sseveral weeks ago.
=3/$5.41 (after tax) or $1.80 each! That is great!  It's a savings of over $45!

I had a little trouble at the store when I went to get the games tonight.  I asked a clerk to help me find the games (I found mine at the front of the store, but they were still marked $16.99).  Once he found them, he told me they were $7.99, but they were not part of the B2G1 free deal.  I explained that seemed strange to me since they were on the same page of the ad showing the B2G1, but he said they couldn't do both deals.  I asked to speak with a manager and she said they would try to ring it up...they did and sure enough, they rang up at $7.99 AND the 3rd one was free!

Then I handed over my coupons.  They were going to just let me use 2 coupons, but after I explained the 3rd coupon was from the manufacturer and they were going to make money on that coupon they let me use it.  (The 3rd game being free is a "coupon" from Toys R Us, the 3rd $4 coupon is from the manufacturer and Toys R Us is going to get that $4 back from the manufacturer.)  So, if you have any trouble with you cashier, just ask for a manager and hopefully I explained it well enough that you can explain it to them.  :)
