Monthly Spending - September

Follow me as I work towards a $400 per month grocery~dining out~toiletry~diapering budget for my family of 5.  When we started working towards this we were spending upwards of $900 PER MONTH on all of this...we've come a long way and are working to get closer to that $400 each month.

So, we're way higher this month than I had planned to be.  I was doing good until we did our grocery shopping tonight (should have waited until tomorrow to have it count towards the new month), but the meat deals are so good at Hy-Vee this week and since it was my shopping night we had to get out to stock up.  Good news is we won't have to buy chicken or beef for a long time.

Here it goes...hope to have better results to share next month.
