I did just a little bit of Target shopping this week. Here is what I got for $2.88! I was going for free or nearly free since it's the end of the month and I'm getting close to that $400 monthly spending amount I'm going for. The $400 isn't looking too realistic this month as I still have a grocery trip to take this week, but we'll be close.
2 Glade Powder - $1.97
-$2/2 September All You Mag. or October Good Housekeeping Mag. AND
-$1 (use 2) Target Printable
=2 FREE
Hershey's Kisses - $2.99
-$1/1 SS 9/19 AND
-$1/1 Target Printable
=$.99
Campbell's Healthy Request Soup - $1.52
-$1/1 Target Printable (I had printed this a few weeks ago, not sure if it's still available)
=$.52
3 Tide Laundry Detergent (travel size) - $.97
-$1/1 P&G 8/29 or
-$1.50/1 SS 8/22
=3 FREE When it comes to Tide Laundry Detergent, I always look through my laundry coupons at the end of the month. I almost always have Tide coupons that are going to expire at the end of the month and they are for $1 off (or more). If I know I'm not going to be able to use those before they expire, I will use them at Target for the travel size detergent....may as well get free laundry detergent rather than throw them away.
Ovaltine - $2.41
-$1/1 September All You Mag. (or you may have gotten one in your Dillon's coupon mailer)
=$1.41 (great price for the brand)
I also noticed just this month that many of the Dillon's coupon they send out are actually Manufacturer's coupons that have the Dillon's logo at the bottom of the coupon. Since these say Manufacturer's coupon at the top of the coupon you can use them anywhere...not just at Dillon's. I'm sure many of you have already figured this out, but this was a big deal to me. :)
So, all said today I spent $2.88 and saved $12.35...LOVE it!
Michelle
