Follow me as I work towards a $450 per month grocery~dining out~toiletry~diapering budget for my family of 5. When we started working towards this we were spending upwards of $900 PER MONTH on all of this...we've come a long way and are working to get closer to that $450 each month.
Our spending was much better this month and we almost made that $400 for the month. After much evaluation we've decided $450 is going to be more reasonable for us. Maybe we'll get to that $400 at some point, but for right now, I'm happy slashing the bill in half.
October Household Spending - $436.98
October Household Savings - $653.75 (this is CRAZY to me...I never thought we could save this much money!!! And to be saving MORE than we spent is great as well!)
October Rebates & Survey Money Received - $52.40 ($15.00 in rebates and $37.40 from doing surveys)
October Rebates Submitted, not received - $10.48
