Here are some of the highlights:
Sale Items
- Walgreens accepts Manufacturer's coupons on sale items.
- If an item is selling for less than the manufacturer's coupon, they will adjust the price of the coupon down, they will not let you have an overage on coupons.
- When purchasing a single item, you can use BOTH a manufacturer's coupon AND a Walgreens coupon. Walgreens also has coupon books (near their ad at the front of the store...a new one each month) and you can use these in addition to the manufacturer's and Walgreens coupon.
- When purchasing multiples of the same item, you can use multiple coupons. Say you are purchasing 5 deodorants, you can use 5 coupons (unless stated otherwise on the coupon).
- When items are part of a B1G1 promotion (through Walgreens), you can use 2 coupons as long as they don't make the price go below $0. If the promo is for buy 1 deodorant, get 1 deodorant for free you could use 2 coupons (1 for each deodorant).
- Sales tax will still be paid on these items.
- Walgreens accepts valid printable coupons.
- These are considered manufacturer's coupons. You can only have 1 manufacturer's coupon per item.
- There is a limit of RR printed per transaction/customer.
- You can not redeem your RR to purchase the same item for another RR.
- RR cannot be used to purchase gift cards.
Let's say you go in to Walgreen's to buy 2 body washes, 1 shampoo and 1 roll of paper towels (4 items). You have 3 manufacturer's coupons, 4 Walgreen's coupons and 2 Register Rewards. You are only going to be able to use 1 Register Reward since you have 3 manufacturer's coupons. You will have to save your other RR until your next visit (make sure it doesn't expire) or find a "filler" item that doesn't cost much. I usually find something for less than a quarter from the ad or grab a piece of taffy if this happens.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask. I'm happy to answer them!
Michelle
