Weekend Savings!

I'll try to remember to take a picture next time...that's always so fun for me to see someone's groceries all laid out and then see the total. For today though, I'll list it all out for you to see the savings! All of my shopping over the weekend was at Dillon's.

Kroger OJ - 2.99
Skim Milk - 2.99
Reynolds Foil - 1.49
2 Yoplait 6 pack Yogurts - 4.00
Kroger Sausage - 1.50
Oscar Mayer Sub Lunchables - .99
Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs - 3.98
4 Ronzoni Pasta - 1.50
Yoplait Delights 4 pack - 2.00
Oscar Mayer Lunchable 1.49
Flour Tortillas - 4.00
2 Kroger Green Beans - .38 each
Old El Paso Refried Beans - 1.50 each
Bananas - 1.59
2 Dole Salad - 1.50 each

Before Dillon's Savings total was - $60.91
I purchased 8 items in the March Madness sale (the lunchables, ronzoni pasta, hot dogs) and that gave me $4.00 off my total order!
Then I had coupons for Ronzoni Pasta, $1.00 of each (with the .50 from MM sale and the coupons that was free!)
I had a coupon for $1.25 for the foil, which meant I paid .24 for the roll.
I had an .80 couponfor 2 (which doubled up to $1.00) for the kids yogurt and I had an eighty cent coupon from cellfire...making those 2.20 for both.
I had a $1.00 coupon for the yogurt for mommy and a $1.00 coupon from Cellfire, making that item FREE!
I had a $1.00 coupon for the salads from a previous salad purchase at Dillon's...making it 2 for $2.00!
With the purchase of the refried beans I got a Catalina (coupon for future use for $1.50 off anything).

I'm sure I have forgotten something, but here is my breakdown on my receipt... Vendor coupons $8.35, Multi coupons $1.70 and Store coupons were $20.83...total savings were $30.88 (53 percent). I paid $30.03...less than what I saved!

And on Saturday I realized there were a few deals I couldn't pass up. So here is my Saturday bill.

French Bread - 1.49
Kroger Half and Half - .99
13 Oscar Mayer Sub Lunchable (these were such a good deal the day before I loaded up...great to send in Justin's lunches and can't be beat at .49 each after savings!)
3 Ronzoni pasta (found more coupons for it and it's free after coupons and savings) 1.50
Kellogs Special K Cereal Bar - 2.50
Dillon's Chocolate Milk - 1.88 (I'll be going back for 2 more gallons on Tuesday, my kids love chocolate milk and this makes it cheaper than a regular gallon of milk)
Broccoli - 2.99
Hallmark Card - .99
Total before coupons - $49.34
With the March Madness sale I had 16 items for the $4 cash back twice, so take $8 off the bill
I had a $1 coupon for the Special K bars
I had 3 $.75 coupons for the Ronzoni and Dillon's price matches up to $1, so take $3 off the bill.
Used my $1.50 catalina from the day before.
Breakdown is Vendor Coupons - $3.50, Multi Coupons - $.50, Store Coupons - $27.56, Total Savings - $31.56 (66%)
Total Paid - $17.78!!!

Bear with me...I'll get this stuff clearer...just trying to get it out as clearly as possible. What I can say is I am saving money! More money than I ever expected to save and I'm buying things we will use! Hope you find some value in this blog and find some savings for yourself!
